Successful commissioning of SF360TA engines on the fishing vessel Puerto Ballena

The factory vessel Puerto Ballena, operated by Pescachile, has recently completed the commissioning and sea trials of two Guascor Energy SF360TA propulsion engines running at 1200 rpm.

Both engines drive a single reduction gearbox and are part of the vessel’s main propulsion and electric generation system. The installation also includes ComAp control panels and an integrated monitoring system.

This project covered the full repowering process, commissioning, and validation at sea to ensure proper performance under operational conditions.
